Hey man, What happened to the Editor Switch Pie.??! That's the only one I wanted. Cannot seem to find it in the new version.

Hey, nothing should've happened, it should be on Ctrl+Alt+S. If it's not working, try submitting a bug report.

Hey, when I first downloaded this addon at 1.6.5 (or so) I was really enjoying the Editor Switch Pie. But as it is now, I can't seem to find it, it's even disappeared from preferences. I looked for it in 1.5.3 and apparently, it's gone.

I don't know if there's something I'm missing but maybe if it was depreciated you could add it back. Thanks for the addon though, I got addicted really fast

Hey,

Thank you for your addon! I've been using it for a long time, and I love it. Since version 4.3, I can no longer access the Numpad View Pie Menu. It used to be Alt+Q, but now it doesn’t seem to work. This was one of my most useful pie menus. Did I miss something?

Heya, this has been built into Blender for a long time, it's on the Accent/Grave key: `.

Super useful add-on, except one thing. I usually use the Ctrl S shortcut with earlier versions, that prevent from un unintentional save (if we prefere to save as or to save with increment). But with the latest version we have lost the save option in the pie menu Ctrl S, as well as append and link (when drag is disabled). It would be great to have them back.

A great addon, but for sculpting the pie menus don't draw from the brushes properly/ the function is broken for a few of them. Tried in 4.3 which makes this understandable but the content needs to be updated just fyi.

Heya, this should've been fixed in 1.6.5. If that's not the case, could you submit a bug report with repro steps?

Origin to bottom isn't working like before, it isn't going to bottom centre, and when the process happens mesh also moves from its original position (sometimes goes up sometimes down)

Excellent addon, been using it for quite some time and recently updated it. Apply rot/scale is removed or something? If it did please add it again, it was very convenient before, you just press control A and drag the mouse down but now I have to apply rot and scale separately and I'm not used to it.

  • Mets replied

I'm dumb, someone already requested this but I accidentally added "Apply Loc/Rot" instead. My bad! Fixed in 1.6.4.

I wonder why Apply Rotation/Scale was remove since it's very useful, Apply Loc/Rot/Scale doesn't seem popular cuz it's change the origin.

  • Mets replied

Fair point! I've taken a note to add this back in the next version. Not entirely sure when I'll get around to it though.

Why the View Port Pie menus is gone ?

  • Mets replied

The add-on was reworked, you can check the list of hotkeys in the preferences, or the ReadMe.

View pie different. Not very convenient

  • Mets replied

Sorry to hear that. I ask that you either give it a chance for some time, or give more detailed feedback, which you can do here.

Many drastic changes in a short time, we have to get used to every update. They should create a pie menu like the pie menu editor where we can assemble the pie the way we want.

A suggestion for the area split/joint pie, put the option on the left side as vertical split and the option on the right side as horizontal split, the bottom option for close area and the top one for joint and when selecting you only choose the side that wants to join

I use google translate.

Hey. Yeah, the rework of the add-on was done in a relatively quick burst, to allow time for iteration and feedback, but don't drag out the process so that people feel it's pointless to get used to things. The current version can be seen as final, as I haven't gotten any feedback for quite some time now, and I have no further changes planned that would affect existing muscle memory.

Hey, I can't reproduce this issue, could you open a bug report so I can get to the bottom of it?

Bug Alert!!

Outliner> Editor switch (shortcut)> outliner> outliner type> belender file This pie section opens DATA API instead of BLENDER FILE mode!

Thank you for your Add on but I think adding more complexity does not necessarily beneficial for the usability! I mean one step pie menu was wonderful and enjoyable to use. Now it feels like using the default menus are faster in some cases!! (above example)

  • Mets replied
  • 8 mo

Thanks, you make good points. I'll try making those into drop-down lists instead of pie menus, I think it will feel a lot nicer. And I'll fix the small bug of course. Keep an eye on the next version!
