The addon has poor performances, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also would be good if you could be reachable via something else than X. Not only are there better tools to post bug reports (GitHub, discord) but mate... What's up with all the antisemitic BS posts? At least keep your propaganda out of Blender's community.
Brilliant add-on for hard surface modelers and industrial designers! I've sent you a PR with great new features, would appreciate if you give it a quick look: https://github.com/fdaubine/Align2Custom/pull/6
For those interested in the fork, here's the release link: https://github.com/its-1p2d/Align2Custom/releases
Incredibly useful to monitor long renders remotely
Something I've been hoping for a long long time. Thanks again
You're very much welcome! More to come ;)
Excellent add-on, thank you for your work. I have a minor feature request: would it be possible to add a preference setting to display only the icon (Monitor icon), without the “Preview” label? This would be helpful when using other add-ons that add buttons to the Outliner.
Thanks for liking it! The button has been simplified and is now displayed as a single icon.
Absolute must-have. To think that the author released this for free is just crazy. Cant recommend it enough.
Great work. Here is an idea to make the tool even more useful:
Case scenario: I'm currently texturing a tree imported from 3DS max, and I have to find a way to automatically select all of its leaves (thousands of similar mesh islands)
yes, that could be very useful indeed, so the leaves are similar in shape but not exactly the same? I'll give it a go
Great work. It would be helpful if the Text field in the Add Tag pop up was preselected so we can start typing immediately without having to click in it first.
Great work! The UI could use a bit more attention, though:
Hello! thank you for the feedback!
Yeah, the list is really massive. You can use the Native Filter from the List in the bottom left corner of the List. but maybe to expose a search bar above the List can make more sense! I'll take in consideration and find a nicer approach for the search bar!
Sure, there will be such basic presets on the next version. If you have some recommendation of how the presets must be, hit me up!
Again, thanks for the review and I'm glad this tools is useful for you!
A must-have for any hard surface modelers
Absolutely brilliant. Thanks so much!
Exactly what I needed (gonna replace the Copy Object Name to Data Name addon that I had). One thing that could be cool though: ALT+F2 (or any other logical shortcut) to rename only the Data Name.
Clean as.
Just checking if the collaboration with Lauloque (author of https://extensions.blender.org/approval-queue/loop-methods/#about) is still in the works? Looking forward to it!
Great stuff. Would be good to have an option that toggles objects in the collection manager (should probably disabled by default).
Rating 5 stars as this addon is a must have, but I have this error since the last update: "4.3\extensions\blender_org\viewport_pie_menus\hotkeys.py", line 170, in draw_kmi depress=kmi.properties.on_drag, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'on_drag'
Heya, thanks for letting me know. This is quite strange and should never happen, but the keymap API is so fragile, I'm not too surprised. I can add code to somewhat account for this case and not error but even then, at least one keymap probably won't work. Might wanna open a bug report, cause I'm not sure how you got it into that state!
Simple, yet super useful. One idea: it would be awesome to have a feature which does the opposite too (data name to object name)
Added the opposite option in version 1.1.1. :)
Extremely useful - would be awesome to have the unit update in real time to cm/mm when working on small models. Or maybe that should be an option in the addon settings.
Hi, I'm glad you like the expansion, I've been busy with a lot of projects towards the end of the year recently, I'll be back to optimize the expansion after I've been busy for a while and have some free time!
Took me a while to get used to it to the point of even disabling it as some point... But that Edit Mesh modifier changed my mind. Boy, that is one great addition!! Good job guys
Thank you for the review! Glad you like the new Edit Mesh modifier :)
Brilliant. Should be in Blender by default.
