Reviews with four stars

With Blender's default camera features being so poor, this add-on provides a basic and much needed improvement. Thank you!

Only reason I rated 4 stars is because it's not compatible with setting local cameras per viewport (N menu > View > Local camera - still follows the document resolution instead of each camera's custom resolution).

Hi, thanks. That’s a good idea for a feature but unfortunately I don’t think it is possible to implement at all currently.

Useful extension thanks, it seems there is a problem with the camera name that seems to be not synchronized with the name in the scene.

Hi, thanks. Could you report this to the issue tracker? https://projects.blender.org/pioverfour/per_camera_resolution/issues

Thx for the plugin! It is very nice to have. However, if you change the camera via markers in an animation sequence once you hit "Render animation", the resolution will keep the settings of the first active camera in the animation sequence.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. Are you using the Render Animated Resolution button, from the Custom Resolution panel inside the camera properties? Because if you’re using the default Render Animation from the Render menu (or Ctrl + F12 by default), a limitation in Blender will make the animation keep the first camera’s settings indeed. There is unfortunately nothing I can do about it, which is why I created a new operator for this.

Great QOL, However, You can already add custom resolutions in blender and there is even a built-in preset you can use (3 dots menu above the resolution adjuster).

Hi, thanks for the review! I’m not sure I understand what you suggest though. This add-on is not about using presets, but about having an animated camera resolution. As far as I know, there is no way to do that in Blender?
