Control your main light from the Viewport
Wether it's a built-in or World HDRI, a Sky Texture or a Sun Light, control the light rotation, height and intensity straight from the viewport.
Modal controls
Modes
- TAB: Cycle between modes
- H: HDRI Mode (built-in or World)
- W: Studio Light Mode (in Lighting → Studio → "World Space Lighting" must be enabled)
- D: Shadows Mode (in Lighting → Studio → "Shadow" must be enabled)
- S: Sun Mode
Actions
- R : Rotate HDRI
- Z : Move HDRI up or down
- X (if in Sun Mode): Pivot Sun on local X axis
- Z (if in Sun Mode): Orbit Sun on global Z axis around 3D Cursor
- SHIFT (Hold) (if enabled in Preferences): Precision Mode
Settings
- Enable/Disable Precision Mode with SHIFT
- Invert Rotation direction (does not work for Sun lights)
- Rotation Value Display settings
- Enable/Disable HDRI Rotation Sync: if the extension detects that you World is sharing the same Image Texture as your built-in HDRI (the one used when "Scene World" is disabled"), it assumes your world is "SYNCED" to the Built-in HDRI. It will make sure to sync the rotation between World and Built-in HDRI. Built-in to World HDRI Sync can be achieved using the Shading + Extension
Default Keymap
- CTRL+ALT+RMB: Can be changed via the add-on settings or in the main keymap menu.
