Features
Bug Fixes
This extension requests the following permission:
Import built-in and custom assets
Added a thumbnail link to the ND Deep Dive series on YouTube.
Exception in module register(): .config/blender/4.2/extensions/user_default/nd/__init__.py
Error: cannot import name 'bl_info' from 'bl_ext.user_default.nd' (.config/blender/4.2/extensions/user_default/nd/__init__.py)
That should all be working as expected now (tested via install from disk, dragging the extension .zip into the main Blender window, and with a custom repo) đ
Thanks for the updates, it does work now :)

Hello!
In 4.2 new "Online Access" property was added in preferences. It's a read-only property that Blender and add-ons should refer to. Add-ons that access the internet are now expected to check for bpy.app.online_access
and not connect if user turns it off.
Could you please update your add-on to adapt to that requirement? You can read more here https://developer.blender.org/docs/release_notes/4.2/python_api/#additions
Hi Nika, online access was only required as the original version of the add-on (for Blender <4.1) used a simple built-in update checker. I've turned off that functionality for this Blender 4.1+ extension version of the add-on.
I'll remove the network
entry from the blender_manifest.toml > permissions
section on the next update published as it's no longer required/unnecessary.

And an issue I noticed on Mac by the way is that the UI scale is not taken into account for the add-on. It happens on the other platforms as well, but in Mac is noticeable off the bat (due to the retina display).
I know this is not a support tracker, but since we neglected on catching this during the initial approval I thought you may wanted to know that.
Hey Dalai, we added the "New Update" to highlight that 1.44 was a more significant release than usual, but I understand it's probably a bit moot having it on the thumbnail. I'm in the process of creating a better thumbnail for the add-on, so I'll be replacing it soon (and removing that banner) đ
Thanks for the heads-up regarding the UI scale. I don't use a Mac, so it's not something I would have noticed. However, there is a setting in ND's preferences under the UI tab that allows you to scale the floating overlay text up and down (I assume it's the overlay you're referring to). I'll investigate how we can consider the internal UI scale value so the default size is more appropriate for different setups.
