⚠️ Notice for Blender 5.1.x Users Issue: Due to a known internal API binding bug (lazy property loading) present exclusively in Blender 5.1.x, the Total Limit slider may fail to render and display a "Total Limit property not loaded yet" message. Status: This is a Blender-side engine limitation. Other versions (4.5, 5.0, and 5.2+) are fully functional and unaffected. Workaround: If you are on Blender 5.1.x, please enable Use Individual Limits to configure your physics bounds via the X and Z axis properties instead.

Version 2.15 Update Notes [Major Improvements: Physics & UI Sensitivity] Enhanced Parameter Granularity: Re-calibrated the sensitivity of all physics properties (Damping, Stiffness, etc.). You can Expanded Damping Range: Fixed the legacy issue where damping values over 0.5 caused the simulation to abruptly freeze. The new linear mapping allows for a much wider and more intuitive usable range, preventing the "instant-stop" effect. Stable Energy Accumulation: Refined the logic for low-damping scenarios. Damping at 0 now correctly allows for continuous energy buildup (intentional "explosion") with improved numerical stability, so it won't crash the simulation easily. [New Features] Selective Angle Limit: Introduced a per-bone Angle Limit. This constraint can be applied specifically to selected bones, allowing you to prevent extreme bending in specific areas while keeping other parts of the chain fully dynamic. 🚀 Wiggle Bone 2.0 - Blender 5.0 Major Update Log

  1. Standalone UI Integration

Dedicated Sidebar Menu: Updated the UI structure to move from being a sub-menu under the "Animation" tab to its own dedicated standalone "Wiggle 2" sidebar tab. This provides a cleaner workspace and faster access to physics settings. 2. Physical Stability & "Hard-Fix" Stretching Zero-Stretch Hard Lock: Solved the long-standing "rubber band" issue. When the Stretch property is set to 0, the bone scale is now hard-locked to 1.0, ensuring bones maintain their original length regardless of extreme collision forces or gravity. Enhanced Anti-Slip (Friction Snap): Improved friction calculations to prevent bones from "sliding on ice" over collider surfaces. The new logic kills tangent velocity and snaps the bone to the surface more effectively. Jitter Reduction: Refined the energy dissipation logic during collisions to prevent high-frequency vibrating (jittering) when bones are caught between multiple faces. 3. Advanced Collection Collision Support Multi-Object Detection: Upgraded the collision engine to support Full Collections. The simulation now iterates through all mesh objects within a designated collection in real-time. Dynamic Collider Swapping: Implemented an optimized object-swapping logic that maintains high performance while calculating complex collisions with multiple scene assets. 4. Precision Visual Guide System Capsule Distortion Fix: Fixed the vertex offset bug where the capsule guide would distort or "grow" unnaturally when the Radius was adjusted. Automatic Head/Tail Alignment: Vertex positions for Box, Cylinder, and Capsule guides are now mathematically snapped to the bone’s actual world-space length for 100% visual accuracy. 5. Blender 5.0 API & Performance Optimization Matrix Normalization: Added to_3x3().normalized() processing to the final bone matrix to prevent micro-scale accumulation errors common in Blender 5.0. Handler Persistence: Applied @persistent decorators to all simulation handlers, ensuring physics data remains intact during file loads, renders, and scene undos. Zero-Frame Reset Logic: Re-engineered the reset system to instantly clear velocity and position cache when the timeline is jumped to the start frame or played backwards. 6. Major Bug Fixes Fixed NameError during the registration phase due to function definition order. Fixed TypeError (Enum "POSE" not found) when toggling visual guides by ensuring armature activation before mode switching. Improved the direction vector validation to prevent bones from "flipping" or knotting up in tight collision spaces.
