🌟 Wiggle 2 - Optimized Maintenance Fork for Blender 5.0 & 5.1

This is a community-maintained version of the famous Wiggle 2 add-on by shteeve3d. As the original version was not compatible with the latest Blender releases, I have updated and optimized it to ensure it works perfectly for professional production. Key Improvements in this Version:

  • Full Compatibility: Fixed all API and animation data issues for Blender 5.0 and 5.1.
  • Performance Optimized: Specifically tuned to handle complex, high-density bone rigs (like long hair strands) without viewport lag.
  • Multi-Bone Sync: You can now toggle settings and update properties for all selected bones at once.
  • Modern Extension Format: Fully converted to the new Blender Extension system for easy management.

Stiffness Bug? Anytime I try to change the stiffness, it resets. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Maybe because I am using Auto Rig Pro? It creates three NLA tracks that I do not know what their purpose is. I tried looking through the guide and couldn't find anything helpful. Nor does the guide tell me about the stiffness resetting. I am assuming this is a bug. I assume older versions of this addon do not have this issue given the reviews from then, do not mention this issue. This addon does have lots of potential though and like where it is going

Issues arising from updates in this early version are still occurring. The NLA function is an animation layer feature. It is a bit difficult to operate, but it works well. There is no issue with stiffness adjustments resetting, but I will check into it. We are currently working on fixing many bugs. Thank you.

It just doesn't work. I installed it the way everyone does it, but stiffness on bones just doesn't work, the bones are just wiggling without stiffness and I can't fix it, stiffness setting just reserts right after I change it.

DOESN'T WORK. Settings shown in guide is different from the actual add-on. Disappointing.

Hello Isaac-Godwin,

Thank you for your feedback, but your claim is incorrect.

The Wiggle 2: RTX Edition available here is fully optimized and converted to the modern Blender Extension system. The official settings and workflow shown in the documentation strictly match the version deployed on this platform.

If your add-on settings or UI look different from the guide, it is highly likely that you have outdated cached data from the legacy legacy version (non-extension version) remaining in your Blender scripts folder, or you are experiencing an internal API loading delay common in specific Blender versions.

Please follow these steps to resolve your issue:

  1. Completely uninstall any old or legacy versions of the Wiggle Bones/Wiggle 2 add-on from your Blender preferences.
  2. Restart Blender, then install this extension cleanly via the official 'Get Extensions' platform.
  3. If you are using Blender 5.1.x, please be aware of the internal Blender-side API binding bug (lazy property loading) and enable 'Use Individual Limits' as a workaround.

The extension works perfectly in production. We kindly ask you to verify your local installation environment and reconsider your rating once it is resolved. If the issue persists, please open an official report on our GitHub repository. Thank you.
