I've tried a few layer painting add-ons and this one is my favorite.

This is a very practical ADDON and very easy to use. You only need to watch the author's tutorial to use it on your own works.

The best material layer management that I've tried. Since the amount of customization/options is high, there is a decent amount of information that you have to get accustomed to but is vert much worth it.

NGL It scared me the first time I opened the add on however I highly recommend Moltenbot's (YT) tutorial and this keeping this doc https://ucupumar.github.io/ucupaint-wiki/ near by. Working in Blender feels much more comfortable with this new texturing pipeline, truly awesome!

Simply one of the best add-ons for blender. Ucupumar is a great artist and has nailed it with this wonderful extension. Many disown blender when painting and with this those same when they see the workflow with this add-on and it blows their minds with the possibilities and how comfortable it is to work with.
