In Blender's Viewport Solid Display mode, color rendering follows an independent mechanism. The colors displayed in this mode are decoupled from the Principled BSDF shader in the Material Properties panel, meaning the viewport does not automatically sync with the actual material colors. Although texture maps display normally, the base color of the material requires manual parameter copying and pasting to achieve synchronization.
In design modeling scenarios that require real-time updates, the need to display material colors in real time is particularly urgent. While designers can model in Material Preview or Rendered modes, these approaches are inefficient. Enabling the Solid Display mode to intuitively present colors synchronized with material properties allows designers to make design decisions efficiently through immediate visual feedback, precisely control the overall visual effect, and reduce post-production adjustment costs.
