Could use some quick description in the addon. There is no location stated, no description. Wonder how they passed this addon, i mean it needs to be coded using terms.

Great addon. Just here trying to ask a question, how do I sample the normals to generate a normal map for a 2d image?

Right now the clouds are volumetric shapes inside a simple cube/sphere. Creating meshes with geometry nodes is in the works for the next update, but progress has been slower then I'd like due to my time being taken up by work.

As a workaround for now:

  • Create an empty scene without any environment
  • Create a sun or square light pointing from the camera to the cloud
  • Use the cloud lit straight on as a height map (the bump node can convert it to a normal map)

thousands of thanks for all your work on the extension, wishing you loads of loads of success in implementing the earlier planned functions, improvements.
