Why is the bolt small? Most likely you are working with a project scale of meters. A default bolt is about 10mm large. You can zoom in or use the dot (.) on the numpad to focus on the bolt immediately after placement.
Very good addon! Thank you it's very helpful for my models.
This extension is by far my favorite. It’s truly a masterpiece of engineering.
Usefull but Units in Blender need to be set to mm or results need to be scaled by 1000 if you want to keep meter aus unit. Some placeholders for future options like a secure pin for bolts in the code.
Some major issues with blender 5.0. So the bolts are tiny, the fix is to reduce unit scale to 0.001. I do that, add bolt, looks good. Change any setting on the bolt and it resets unit scale back to 1.0. Used the add on last year, gave awesome results for my 3D printing project. Want to use it after the 5.0 update, ain't having it. Hope it gets fixed soon :( .

WOW, amazing and easy to use, but to whoever uses this, scale your nut up by 0.1 to make it fit to your bolt.
Mostly good. Does what is says on the can, and easier to use than trying to brute-force a spiral into behaving. Loaded this in on my first time using Blender, and was able to get most of what I wanted out of it. My only problem with it is that I can't seem to create a bolt with a pitch greater than 7 mm; I need a larger pitch for a prop I'm making, so I'm stuck trying to force it to work with Z-axis scaling.
Aside from that though, it does what I need it to do.
Very good.
