Thanks. Yeah I did not notice the clock icon was clickable. The reason this made me so sad was because I was at first so happy that this existed, as it's extremely useful. I'm glad it works after all 👍

Hello, sorry to hear that and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I am the dev of the addon, and i guess you did not read the "doc" (which i agree is not on this page but on the github wiki) located here : https://github.com/samytichadou/Auto_Reload_Blender_addon

You have to click on the stopwatch button to start autoreload, and you also have to select which type of data(s) you want to automatically reload through the preferences or the popover panel.

To show you and other readers this should work properly, i took the time to make a little video demo here reproducing the situation you described (a psd and a png in shader) https://makertube.net/w/rmsa7smgu96bjSJXeid3Ng

I'll update this page to be more explicit about the "click to run" process, but in the meantime, if you find the addon working with these infos, consider modifying your rate !
