Save all modified image textures on blendfile (auto-)save.
Autosave Textures
This add-on enables a behavior similar to blendfiles autosave, for edited images and textures.
Images can be overwritten in their existing source files (if any), or always written as copies into a dedicated directory.
Autosaving can happen when manually saving the blendfile, and/or periodically, using the same interval as the blendfile autosave feature (2 minutes by default).
[!WARNING] Only stil images are supported, there is no support for videos or image sequences.
This add-on is offered as it is and maintained by the community, no support expected.

This is a lifesaver!
Would it be possible to extend the autosaving to images packed inside the .blend file? Those don't seem to keep the changes upon saving (in Blender 5.x, at he very least).
