Save and restore views, pov, layers & display configs.
This extension was part of Blender 4.1 bundled add-ons. It is now offered as it is, with limited supported.

Suited my purposes. I was able to save different views and set the Camera to those view locations.
A simple, useful extension that needs hotkeys to reach its full potential. Currently only stores and restores your preferred views via clicks on the Views tab of the N menu.
As a workaround, I right click on the 'Set' cube icon of my main views and assign it to a quick favourite. But if you have more than 1 view favourited, they're all named as 'Set'.
For extra precision, get Alt View (also free) to set your views at precise angles, and store those views with Stored Views.
It's really useful. It can save and quickly switch 3D views
