This extension was part of Blender 4.1 bundled add-ons. It is now offered as it is, with limited supported.

Really useful
The Error: No module named 'toml', was fixed 2 weeks ago, after I made a bug report. I was confused as to why is hasn't been updated here yet. In the meanwhile to make it work, you can copy the io.py from https://projects.blender.org/extensions/space_view3d_stored_views/src/branch/main/source and manually replace it where your Blender Foundation extentions files are located.
Works great! Some nice features. I wish there was a way to access or cycle through the views with hotkeys.
