1. Open the RefBoard tab. 2. Click "New" to create a RefBoard 3. Add images by dragging them in, using Shift + A, or clicking "Add Image" in the sidebar.

RefBoard

RefBoard is a Blender add-on for keeping image references directly inside a dedicated node editor. Create a board, drop in images, paste screenshots, arrange them, align them, and keep your references close while you work.

How To Use

1. Open the RefBoard tab.

Open it like any other Blender editor by choosing RefBoard from the editor type list.

2. Click New to create a RefBoard.

Click New to create a RefBoard. You can create multiple boards and give each one its own name.

3. Add images.

Add one or more images by dragging them into the RefBoard, pasting from the clipboard, or using the Add Image button.

4. Organize your board.

Use the sidebar (N-Panel) tools to match sizes, arrange images into rows, columns, or grids, and align selected images to the active one.

5. Export/Import

Export or import portable .refbmd files to move RefBoard boards between Blender projects or share them with images packed together.

  • .refbmd imports now select imported board images before framing them.
  • Updated image transform controls:
    • Rotate controls now use icon-only buttons with a Rotate label.
