You just saved my life. Thank you very much
I logged in just to say this; this add on is a life saver!! Incredible work and a very handy tool, especially when dealing with imported meshes that have individual parts with no correct rotation orientations.
The one MAJOR problem with this add on though, is that you can't set the origin orientation on multiple selected objects at once. Let's say you have a model with hundreds of individual parts with their own origins, you cannot correctly set the orientation of each part simultaneously -- so you would have to one-by-one select each part to set its orientation, which is practically just not doable due to being way overly tedious.
Also, there's no way to Assign a Shortcut to this function. So if you were to go the one-by-one route, you cannot even make the task any less tedious to assign orientations to the hundreds or thousands of individual origins.
