The Nuke Camera & Transform Exporter is a lightweight, precision-focused Blender Extension designed to bridge the gap between Blender's 3D viewport and Foundry's Nuke.
Unlike standard FBX or Alembic pipelines that can sometimes introduce scale issues or locked matrices, this tool generates a native Nuke Python script (.py). Simply drag and drop the exported script into Nuke's Node Graph to instantly recreate your Blender Cameras and Empties as native Camera3 and Axis3 nodes, complete with editable animation curves.
Built for modern VFX workflows, this extension mathematically evaluates complex Blender constraints (like Track To, Copy Location, and complex parenting hierarchies) and cleanly bakes them into absolute Nuke world-space coordinates.
Follow these quick steps to bring your Blender cameras and empties directly into Nuke:
.py file (or paste its contents into the bottom input area of the editor), and press Ctrl + Enter (or Cmd + Return on Mac) to execute the script.Camera3 nodes, and your Empties will appear as Axis3 nodes, fully populated with your baked animation data.Key Features:
