Mesh Filters allows you to use multiple filters to easily select faces/edges/vertices and even stack them together.

Usage

Open the N panel in the 3D viewport and find the Mesh Filters tab.

Make sure you are in Edit Mode, chose filters or options and then click Filter.

This add-on is completely non-destructive.
