Animate blocks and entities with the full power of Blender tools and export them directly to Vanilla Minecraft. It supports Block Displays, Entity Positioning and Tracking (for camera setups).

Once you click Generate Datapack, MCA will automatically generate a ready-to-use datapack that supports multiple scenes.

v1.4.0 - Updates:

Main changes:
  • Code:
    • New addon file structure (Optimized for future updates)
    • Now using bmesh instead of bpy.ops (Stable block imports)
    • New Blockstate system (Stable, but incompatible with MCA 1.3.5 and lower)
    • Updated Block Database: Now the addon uses 1.21.11 Block Database by default
      Note: You can update the Block Database using Dev Tools (Recommended Resource Pack)

  • UI/UX:

    • Added new icons

    • Removed Block ID filter

    • New Block & Entity prefixes

    • New progress bar when exporting

    • Updated Collection Structure and Colors

    • Moved Datapack Settings to Export Tab (Again)

    • Split export settings into distinct Block and Entity

    • Cleanup Tools (Formerly Organization Tools):

      • Merged old tools into Optimize Project.
      • Added Relocate Objects function.
      • Logic is now much more consistent.
    • Removed Use Interpolation checkbox

    • Removed Start from interpolation settings

    • Removed Custom Frame Range from Export Tab

    • Removed Dynamic Tracking checkbox from Tracking Options


  • Datapack:

    • Exporting Book Menu is now optional
    • Added an option to open the datapack folder after exporting.
    • You can now save Datapack Settings & Resource Pack settings to preferences
    • Pre-built Assets: Included internal textures for common blocks (Grass_Block, Planks and Stone) to prevent missing textures when no Resource Pack is loaded.

Minor changes:
  • Keyframe Optimization: Now the generated keyframes are way more optimized with an early fail setup
  • Entity Commands: Added Keyframe Control. You can now specify frames for execution (e.g. 1,2,3,5 or 1-3, 5).
  • Missing Textures: Now using a distinct texture (No longer pink material)
  • Translator: Added support for future language translations
