Geo Nodes Guide is a Blender addon that shows instant documentation inside the editor when you hover over any Geometry Node. No more tab-switching to look up what a node does or how to use it.
Instant Hover Documentation
Just hover over any node and get a helpful tooltip with everything you need to know — description, common uses, pitfalls to avoid, and real-world examples.
332 Nodes Documented
Comprehensive coverage of Geometry Nodes, including mesh operations, curves, instances, volumes, simulations, and more.
Practical Examples
Each node includes real workflow examples, not just technical definitions. Learn how to actually use the node, not just what it does.
Common Pitfalls
Avoid frustrating mistakes with warnings about each node’s quirks — like which inputs expect radians vs degrees, or when you need to realize instances first.
“Often Combined With” Suggestions
Discover which nodes pair well together. Stop wondering what to connect next.
Non-Intrusive
Press ESC to dismiss tooltips. Toggle on/off anytime. Stays out of your way when you don’t need it.
Includes a built-in feedback button to report issues or suggest improvements for specific nodes. Community feedback helps shape future updates.
Geo Nodes Guide is open source and built with the community in mind. Anyone is welcome to explore the code, contribute improvements, or add translations. The goal is simple: make learning Geometry Nodes clearer, better, and accessible to everyone.

As a beginner in Geometry Nodes, I find this very useful. Thank you.
How about adding a click behavior with a with automatic 'swap' option? This way the active node can be the one on display. Hover is erratic and many times selects neighboring nodes or simply does not find what is under the cursor.
