Edit Mesh Tools

I’m using Blender for 3D-printable design, and the Offset Edges feature is really useful for me when creating connectors between two separate parts. However, I’ve noticed that when I enter an offset value (for example, 0.12 mm), the actual measured offset is not 0.12 mm.

I’ve already set the unit system to Metric and the unit scale to millimeters in the Units section, but the issue still occurs.

Could you please help me understand or fix this problem?
