Easy Arrangement

is a Blender add-on for arranging multiple selected objects into precise linear, stair-step, or circular layouts — directly from a clean sidebar panel, with live preview and one-click reset.

Linear
Distributes objects along any axis (X, Y, or Z) with configurable spacing. Optionally uses each object's actual bounding box size to calculate gaps automatically, so mixed-size objects stay evenly spaced without manual adjustments.

Stair
Extends the linear layout with a secondary step axis and height offset, building staircase-style sequences. The step height and axis are independently controlled, making it straightforward to create architectural steps, rising formations, or layered compositions.

Circular
Places objects around a center point on a chosen plane (XY, XZ, or YZ). The center can be set to the 3D Cursor, the active object, or any scene object. Radius can be uniform, gradually increasing from a start to an end value, or incremented by a fixed step per object. Angle distribution supports both per-object angle and total arc angle modes.

What makes the circular mode stand out is its rotation handling — three modes are available:

  • Default — objects keep their original orientation
  • Rotate Along Axis — each object rotates progressively around the circular axis, following the arc
  • Rotate Toward Center — each object automatically faces the center point

Rotation Offset
These rotation behaviors, combined with an additional Rotation Offset (independent X/Y/Z angles applied on top of any mode), give precise control that Blender's native Array or object duplication tools do not offer in a single unified workflow.

Live Update applies changes instantly as you adjust any parameter, so the result is visible in the viewport without pressing Apply each time.
The Reset button returns all objects to their original positions and orientations from before the arrangement was applied.

Known limitations in this version:
This is an early-access release and may contain bugs. The circular arrangement has received the most recent changes and is the most likely area to encounter edge cases, particularly with unusual object selections or non-standard pivot configurations. The sub-box layout in the Circular settings panel may not display correctly at all sidebar widths. Live Update can behave unexpectedly if objects are added or removed from the selection after an arrangement has already been applied without resetting first.

Changelog Easy Arrangement v0.1.6

This release focuses on UI clarity and usability improvements. The arrangement type selector (Linear / Stair / Circular) is now displayed as an expanded button row for faster switching. Section headers with icons have been added throughout the panel to visually separate General, Linear, Stair, Circular, and Rotation Offset settings. Axis selectors (X / Y / Z) are shown as inline button groups. The panel has been restructured to a flat layout, eliminating nested boxes that caused display issues in earlier builds. Feedback and bug reports are welcome.

Excellent addon, simple and easy to use, and extremely useful.

I'd like to suggest a feature for a future update, if possible: an option to arrange objects in a grid layout (rows and columns).

Thanks for your work!
