DJI Proxy Switcher

DJI Proxy Switcher automates the tedious process of swapping DJI proxy footage in Blender's Video Sequence Editor.

DJI cameras record a lightweight LRF proxy (1280×720) alongside a full-res MP4 (3840×2160). Edit with the proxy, then switch to 4K for export — one click, no manual rescaling.

Requirements

• LRF and MP4 files must be located in the same folder

How to Use

1. Open the Video Sequence Editor
2. Press N to open the sidebar
3. Go to the DJI Tools tab
4. (Optional) Enable Selected only to process specific clips
5. Click LRF → MP4 to switch to full resolution before export
6. Click MP4 → LRF to revert to proxies for continued editing

Workflow

Edit with LRF proxies → lock your cut → switch to MP4 → export.
