I don't know how to change the overview, so I created a new account and wrote another one :|

The 2D animation(layout) viewport has a dark background (the top left corner of the viewport also has dark text on a dark background when the “Annotate” tool is selected and some others), while in other layouts the viewport has a light color. I tried to change this myself but I can't find the corresponding option in theme settings (I tried 3d viewport and some other settings, basically i change all dark colors to light colors but 3d viewport doesn't change the color), do you know how to change this and make it identical to other windows?

In the 2D Animation viewport, the background color may be different from other windows, especially when using Material Preview Mode. The reason is that Blender automatically enables the "Use Scene World" option when entering the 2D viewport, causing the background color to follow the World settings instead of the theme settings.

Solution

To make the 2D viewport background color consistent with other windows, follow these steps:

1. Disable "Use Scene World"
  • Enter the 2D Animation viewport
  • In the top-right Viewport Shading settings, uncheck "Use Scene World"
  • This will make the background color follow the theme settings
2. Switch to Solid Mode
  • Click the Viewport Shading mode button in the top-left of the viewport
  • Switch from Material Preview Mode to Solid Mode
  • This will apply the 3D Viewport background color from the theme

It's a bit difficult to read the white text on a light gray background in the 'Shader Editor.'

Thank you for your feedback. I will correct this mistake in the new version.
