Add-on Export Paper Model
  • Export Paper Model v1.4.2
  • 3 w

That moment when you export a 3D model as a paper net and realize the tabs don't align or the scaling is slightly off - suddenly your ambitious project turns into a pile of mismatched flaps and tape. I've learned to always do a test print on plain paper first, check the fold lines against a ruler, and verify that the page size matches my printer settings before committing to cardstock. For the actual export, I save the net as a PDF and use PDFServices to merge multiple views or scaling options into one document - so I can compare different versions side by side without wasting paper. The 48-hour auto-delete on uploads is useful when I'm iterating on a design and don't want old drafts cluttering my cloud storage. It's also handy for compressing large files before sending them to a friend with a slower internet connection. The real trick is patience - test, adjust, print again, and only cut when everything looks right on screen.
