This has saved me a TON of time more than once. One really annoying thing about Blender is that if you append multiple collections at different times from the same external file, it creates duplicate materials. As I've often had to do that several times in a project, you can imagine the mess created. This works well. 🙂
Seems to work pretty well. As a hobbyist, it's interesting to see how much time I actually spend on my projects compared to my estimates - turns out I wasn't too far off. 😂
