This thing is really nice and an unbelievable help! But I've noticed it won't import shapes inside a .max file. I have an old .max file that I used to organize shapes for moldings profiles, the addon does import meshes from the file, but it skips the spline shapes. Is it possible to accommodate the add-on for this type of import?
As the description says only meshes are supported yet, there is no documentation online about where the shape info is located in the file. You can upload the file on my issues page so I can have a look, but I doubt that I can solve it without any information about the parameters I should search for.
I was looking for this specific addon for some time now. There are many pie menus around. They're not bad, but this one to me is the most optimized for a quick workflow.
Absolutely essential.
This is a great Add-on that definitely should be a native blender feature. However, limiting the add-on to just the 5 editors it currently supports is arbitrary. I wish this was a toggle on the side of the editor bar and I could open this ANYWHERE. Shader editor, Geometry Nodes Editor, the bottom of the properties' menu. This would be most useful in editors that have nothing to do with animation in the first place, so we don't need to cram the UI with 200 editors on top of each other.
