Theme Deep Grey
  • Deep Grey v2.0.4

This is the best theme for Blender in my opinion. Not too dark and not too light, I appreciate the lower contrast/mid grey appearance. This has been my go-to Blender GUI for years now.

Add-on Parallax Node
  • Parallax Node v1.0.1
  • 9 mo

A great find! and thankyou for releasing this for free on Extensions platofrm. It truly is an easy to use and well integrated Parallax setup for Blender with great results.

I've tried many node setups in the past that do work but can be difficult to adjust or easy to break. While I do appreciate this is mostly a well authored wrapper for existing techniques (made clear in the description) that's exactly what I love about it!

just add the node > load textures > adjust 3 variables > get good results > perfect!

Displacement in Blender can really eat up memory even when only a basic effect will do the trick. I've wanted a stable way to do cheat displacement in Blender for a long time. Thanks a bunch, made my day :)

Add-on Caustics_Baking
  • Caustics_Baking v3.2.1
  • 1 y

Incredible!, Lack of realistic reflective and refractive caustic rendering capability is a big weakness for Cycles. This goes a long way toward solving this issue. The result looks as good as Luxcore.

Pre-computing caustics as a texture makes a lot of sense.

The only thing missing is the ability to bake an image sequence.
