You could choose not to use the features that you personally deem irrelevant, the plugin doesn't force you to use those features.
You said that the plugin made you accidentally reset Blender to factory settings. This is confusing to me. Because when coding that feature, I specifically designed a secondary confirmation popup window just to avoid mis-clicking the operation. In this case, you still mis-operate, which proves that you didn't read the related tips and ignored the secondary confirmation popup window when you operated it. Such behavior is not recommended.
However your situation reminds me that I should continue to improve the design of secondary confirmation popup window and related tips.

Author added some unrelated features. The author’s personal using, irrelevant stuff shouldn’t be included when publishing, and it even made me accidentally reset to factory settings (because it was placed the reset option in the top navigation bar! lol, i don't need this)
