No more surprises when auto-save doesn't work! If your file hasn't been saved for a while, show a warning. Now You Are Autosave!
Two timeouts can be set:
And yes the only way to get rid of the red (themable, of course) is to actually save your file.
Fix a bug where the extension wouldn't find its own preferences.
This extension does not require special permissions.
Hey Dr.
I'm not seeing where I can set timeouts? I think AddonPreferences aren't registered properly. I would also like more control over thickness of the line, and whether or not text appears as well, which I think are global variables now. Think it will be more user-friendly that way.
Also link to URL that creates new issue on github repo in "Report Issues" field
Also noticed "Animation" tag, must be muscle memory ;) Think "System" is good tag for this one
You're right, I tested with the add-on still installed, not as extension :'( How would you go about such preferences now? https://developer.blender.org/docs/features/extensions/ doesn't mention anything about that, and I also can't find anything about this on https://docs.blender.org/api/current/search.html?q=extensions
Also link to URL that creates new issue on github repo in "Report Issues" field
How would I link that? https://developer.blender.org/docs/features/extensions/schema/1.0.0/ doesn't seem to document a TOML field for bug/issue reports.
I think problem is that AddonPreferences class should use bl_idname = __package__

Sounds like good improvements for a future version. For now I just want to get this version on the extensions website.

That was it, thanks. It's now all working. I've uploaded a new 1.2.0 ZIP.
