An addon that makes setting up projectors for Blender's Eevee render engine a 2 step process. Easily create and animate a dynamic image projector in real time! Simply open the side panel and add a new projector.
This extension does not require special permissions.
Please provide a better description, I'm not even sure what I'm testing here. You're sharing your add-on to global Blender users, please take that into consideration.
Is this adapted to EEVEE next? What I'm seeing in my scene doesn't match photos, but again I don't know what I should be seeing because of lack of descriptions. Should the cone be visible at all times and blocking light?
This will not be a blocker, but as personal node take a look into rewriting your operators without using bpy.ops
as it will improve performance and will reduce number of bugs you're gonna receive by quite a lot, as it will not require correct context all the time.
Again, provide better description. Putting in one-liner tag isn't gonna help. Tell users HOW TO set-up whole system, not just how to push a button. For example, you're nowhere stating that you should select specific object, go into its material and replace image.
Also, why not use operator to allow users to also upload image when they're adding projector? Workflow would be much better and usable then.
Hey everyone,
Just a heads-up about a recent change regarding the licensing of add-ons on the Blender extension platform. Moving forward, all add-ons will need to be released under the GNU/GPL 3.0 license (SPDX:GPL-3.0-or-later). This is mainly to keep things simple and consistent across the board.
Previously, we accepted various licenses as long as they were compatible with Blender’s distribution. However, to avoid any confusion and streamline the process, all add-ons using the bpy API should now be presented as GPL 3 (the same license the Blender bundle is distributed). Regardless of whether the original code was under GPL 2, or something else like MIT or ZLIB.
Existing add-ons versions won't be affected. However, new updates will need to comply to the revised requirements.
Thanks for understanding, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
