ACT is Many Tools for Game Asset Creation (Batch Export FBXs/GLTF for Unity/UE/Godot, Origin Aligment Tool, Renaming, UV Tools, Low-Poly Art workflow tools, etc.) for Blender.
ACT contains next tools:
Origin Tools
Renaming Tools
UV Tools
Export Tools Batch Export Selected Objects for Unity, UE or Godot. Available some modes:
Material/Texture Tools
Other Tools
This extension requests the following permission:
Export FBX/OBJ/GLTF to disk
It's reupload of "Asset Creation Toolset" with renaming
This add-on uses sys
module manipulation to load modules which we disallow. None of those should be necessary in __init__
file you can simply use from . import module
and should be enough.
In material_tools
you create material with name Palette_background
and then remove it by name. This is somewhat unsafe, because user might have material with same name already, and when that happens new material created will be named 'Palette_background.001' and you will remove 'Palette_background'. In this operator you don't need to access material by name when removing it, you can store material as variable and then use it in bpy.materials.remove
.
Overall add-on is well made and tested, hard to break. Seems to have accounted for many problematic cases. We'll approve this once those requested changes are made
