Ah, yes this is something I've been struggling with as well! The easiest way I've found to solve this is to use the addon in multiple passes to create multiple curves.
For example, first select your top row of notes -> run the addon -> select the middle row -> run the addon again. Now you've created two separately bouncing curves, and you can repeat this as many times as needed until you have all notes covered.
So the workaround is to create multiple objects playing the notes of the song from left to right, instead of one curve trying to do all of them. I think this also sometimes makes a more interesting animation. Hope this helps!

Amazing addon and loved the tutorial! I'm trying to create a bounce curve with some points that are a bit closer together and have similar x/y values, and the curve seems to be doing all sorts of weird things. Not sure if I can post an image, but maybe you can see what is going on here: https://imgur.com/a/V6nFlTx
The curve should be going from the left-most point, down to the right one, then up to the right to the next one, then back down, etc.. but it seems that the curve auto-generates along the top row, and then goes all the way across before turning around in the opposite direction and going backwards. I know this may not be the best explanation or example, but if you need more information, or a sample project, feel free to reach out and I can send it to you!
Either way, thanks for making such an awesome plugin and tutorial!
