ADDITIONAL NOTE: The overall best recommended version to run POV-Ray with, is still Blender 2.79b, especially for textured models. From then on, though the 2.8+ versions did have some new features and increasingly more maintainable python files layout, they have suffered many regressions mostly due to Everything-Nodes Blender refactoring.
