Heya, this feature now "just works", you don't have to use a custom operator or custom hotkey. Just select the mesh and enter weight paint mode. The armature should be in pose mode, even if you didn't select it, or if it was hidden. It just works. If that's not the case, you can submit a bug report!

thank you for your work as usual, but the addon is very buggy! the overlays are not in sync with the interface and calculate weight islands operator is not working!

Very neat! Added new bones, didn't have to screw with vertex groups. Would be AWESOME if you added the armatures bone collections to the EasyWeight tab as well. What's there is awesome for selecting bones.

Fantastic, I've been dreaming about this add-on for so long. It's a great time saver.
I love it! I'm glad there's a solution to have a one-button symmetrical weight paints for 1 or all. And a great solution to check any rogue paints. Though there might be still some bugs to squash like intentional symmetrize weight paint with/without normalizing and sometimes a bit of an artifact when used. But still beats without having something reliable.
Great addon, suggestions, a button to rehide DEF bones, xray with bones in weight paint breaks default vertex xray, which is unfortunatley a crucial element in my workflow.

Really good Add-on, unfortunately, the recent version have a bug were blender just crash if i apply weight with a subdivision modifier is enabled or if i use a gradient tool
Hey, are you sure these crashes are related to the add-on? Could you open a bug report so we can investigate?
It's a great addon, must have for weight paint. I just can't figure out how to enter "Easy Weight Paint Mode" (without having to select the armature). That was a favorite feature but I can't make it work now. Nothing pops up in the search field either.
