Non-destructive Workflow Rework

• Use Geometry Nodes instead of Boolean modifiers.
• Get rid of Combined object and combine secondary objects inside modifier instead.
• Support Text and Curve objects.
• Randomize Location is now a modifier option.
• Automatically apply Merge by Distance for Text and Curve objects in modifier.
• Manage multiple modifiers with same operation.
• New tool: Select Secondary - select secondary objects used by given modifier.
• Hide secondary objects from render.

Bake

• Use Geometry Nodes bake node to cache modifier result.
• New tool: Bake modifier result for selected objects.
• New tool: Instance Mesh Copy - is a copy of selected objects with their modifiers, but no modifiers of its own (except GN), useful for creating complicated setups, since boolean operations with Instance Mesh Copy are not slowed down by modifier stack of original object.
• Boolean operations and Dissmiss tool automatically rebake modifiers.

Compatibility With Booltron 2 Scenes

• Migrate all objects in the scene to the new Geometry Nodes workflow, when using boolean and Dismiss tools:
  • Replace boolean modifiers created by Booltron with Geometry Nodes modifiers.
  • Delete combined helper objects.

UI

• Boolean operations:
  • Separate settings for primary and secondary boolean operations.
  • Choose target modifier or create new when adding secondary objects.
  • Bake option to cache modifier result.
