Why is there no native tool to align objects in Blender? Why can't I find an option to distribute the positions of objects beyond just aligning them in this addon?
Very useful.
Nor working properly in Blender 4.2 any more. When aligning locations, the objects get rotated/scaled as well. Please fix it.
Its so broken right now lol. Will align location once but god forbid you click on another option in Advanced Settings - it'll cause objects to change scales and directions and locations. Fore example, aligning cube A to cube B along X axis using "Max" and "Max" settings works, but if you want to then align along the X and Y axis or using the "Center" and "Max" settings, it completely breaks. Its so frustrating - PLEASE FIX ASAP!!
Very good
Aligns stuff, no fuss!
in advanced you need an "apply" button. then if initially there were other options not what you need, you configure it as you need, and the alignment will no longer happen as it should.
for example, I want to align the pivot of one object to the pivot of another object. for this I definitely need to go to advanced. and while I'm configuring the alignment of the pivots. objects jump. and the pivots in this session will no longer be aligned. but if I remember this action and apply it to a new bunch of objects and just click Advanced, the alignment of the pivots will happen logically.
therefore you need an apply button like in 3d max. so that any applications occur only after clicking this button.
